I have 2 hydor koralia #3 in my 90 FOWLR. I also have a predrilled tank with a mag 9.5 for return. Is it needed? probably not, but i have nice water movement to/from my sump now.

Hows the flow with those 2 #3's in a 90? Im getting a 90 gal next week and these are what I was thinking of getting. I want good flow but not something thats gonna blast stuff all around the tank.

I have a # 3 and a # 2 Koralia in my tank and I love them, Didnt really need a 2nd but i pput it in there to get a little extra flow

I have a corner overflow system. The mag 9.5 return has a Y return, one return across the back wall/top, the other pointed straight down, like a T. Then on either side of the tank i have the #3's positioned at the top pointing down to the other side, basically like an X.
The flow doesnt seem overpowering as my fish seem fine and swim all over the tank. Before the #3's, i was concerned about dead zones, but no more. Plus food is blasted all over the tank now, so everyone gets there share instead of only the bully fish. Food also doesnt just sit on the bottom anymore. The #3's also dont cause any sort of sand storms if you use live sand.
They also have some sweet coraline algae on them, so they look sweet in the tank.
