I was wondering if i can put too many ph in my tank.I have 2 in there right now Maxijet 900 and 600 but i also have a 1200.would it be ok to put it in there too or is that that to much? Thanks

What size tank are you talking about. I have four maxijet 900's in my 80, 2 maxijet 600's in my 37. In my 80 I have 2 of the powerheads pointed towards the top, 1 blowing across the top of the reef, and 1 blowing across the bottom on the opposite side.

In your 55G, the two you have is probably adequate. Feel free to put the 1200 in and see if everything can take it. If you are only running PH's you should be fine. Amount of water pushed per hour is a hot debate still, so just go with what you think is good flow. I recently posted on turnover per hour and got answers anywhere from 8 to 20 times per hour (times water is recirculated within the tank). HTH
