does anyone have a pic of how they have there powerheads setup?i just removed my undergravel filter and i had them in the lift tubes.i would like to see how some other's are setup

Good post 55gallon...I too will be setting up a 55 gallon and would like to see how this is to be done!

Here's how I have mine. One is at about 10 o'clock, the other at about 7 o'clock the third at 2 o'clock. If that makes sense. I also get circulation from a Whisper 3 that only has a carbon bag in it and a return from my refugium.
Keep water moving throughout and I don't seem to have any dead spots. Each tank though is different based on rock work and such.

i took some realy thin sponge from a filter insert i got at a pet store and cut it,then had my wife stich it up in a cone shape fits over the opening good and tight and flows really good current,but im sure ther is a easyer way,lol
