Preparing for the cleaner crew

Tank water parametrs are all at correct levels( tank set up for 6 weeks Sat.) with Ph being slightly low at 8.0 but I dont have a ncalcium /alk test kit yet so I dont want to add buffer. I have a 55 gallon tank 70 lbs live rock and a 3 gallon refugium with 4 lbs live sand and about 4 lbs live rock. Presently in the tank wich has completly cycled for about 2 weeks now are two firefish gobys 2 scarlet hermits and 5 bluelegs That I purchased after ther cycle. Now as for the hitchikers who came into the tank I also have an orange serpent starfish (originally thought it was a red ) quite a few bristle worms and as of tonight a sally lightfoot crab I believe still studying him. Tommorrow I am getting from SWF .com a 30-90 gallon cleaner crew and 3 green chromis ( order was placed before hitch hikers were found) I have made 5 gallons of saltwater yesterday to replace the water that will be used for drip acclimation and it is currently circulating with a PH . What else do I need to do to prepare for my new arrivals have I missed anything? And also I have read and re read the acclimation guide on here the only thing I am confused about is that by adding new water to tank rather than drip acclimation water wont I be upsetting the tank and its levels, I am asuming the invert bio load will be minimal and all fish should be able to be added safley without creating a spike. Any suggestions are appreciated. Tank turn over is just about 1000 gph with power heads , refugium and Skilter filter. (I Know everyone hates them but mine seems to be working fine)

Make sure you test for ammonia in your bags before you start drip acclimating. If you find high ammonia (more than 0.25), compare the ph in both the bags and the tank. If the tank is 0.2 ph or more higher than the bag, don't drip acclimate.
Also, if the fish are near the top of the bag and breathing very heavily, test for ammonia. If you get a positive reading, skip the acclimation altogether and get the fish in the tank asap.
Acclimation is great, I recommend you always use it. However, when fish are shipped, ammonia can become a very large problem.
