Preventing die off on Live Rock

could i just spray salt water on the rock on the way home from the LFS to prevent die off because i already have some live rock in my tank along with fishes so whats the best way to prevent the die off?

If the LR is already cured at the LFS, then there will be no die-off, unless the ride back home is as long as shipping would usually take. You will be fine just putting it in the tank without curing.

so if i get some cured pieces of live rock from the LFS and bring them home(about 20-25 min. trip) there will be no die off? and my fish will be fine?
