I agree with this. I just superglued mine though, saved some money. This skimmer is a piece of junk. I'm going to replace mine asap. Temp fix is the super glue though. To take the magnetic drive out just pull on the impeller and the whole core comes out with it.
Well when I got home today, I pulled the propeller out with a set of needle noses and then stuck it back in and it worked. I guess it just got pushed down in too far somehow but now its working so i'll go with it until it breaks. Thanks

You mean you superglued the end of it (opposite the propeller) to the base of the pump? I bought a new propeller and it still keeps messing up. I've about had it with this skimmer but i don't want to spend 100 bucks to get a new one.
