Prizm Skimmer?

Hi I have a 40 gallon tank thats gonna hold small reef safe fish (clowns, gobies, blennies etc.) And a few corals. I have 20 pounds of liverock...soon to be 40. And 50 pounds livesand. Would a red sea prizm skimmer be a good choice for an inexpensive skimmer? Do they work good? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks-Greg

I have one (on a 29gal tank). Its a mediocre skimmer. Its finicky when adjusting. It works ok but isnt the best. As most people would probably agree, save the money for a good skimmer like the AquaC Remora. You will thank yourself later for it.
But if you really feel like you need one and you cant afford any more, I suppose it wouldnt be a bad choice. Maybe there are others who can give better advice on other skimmers in that price range...

How much are the aquaC remoras? Yes I am looking for a cheap skimmer because I need money left over for at least 25 pounds liverock and inhabitants of the tank. Thanks-Greg

I think they average at around $180 or so. I've seen used ones go for $100.
You can always add the LR and critters later so its still a possibly option. :)

Don't have $160 to spend right now...but could you still hook me up with some cheap liverock? Just like 15 or 20 pounds. Thanks-Greg
