You are going to get a lot of pro's and con's on this. I have a prizim on my 75 gallon that has been there over a year and a half. I had to replace the pump after about a year. In the interim I bought a Seaclone 100. that one I didn't like. The prizim is imo a decent skimmer for the price. Is this one a deluxe by any chance? I took my Seaclone off and put the prizim back on after I got it fixed. By no means is it top of the line like the Aqua Remora etc, But they're not as expensive either. I think it would be a good if it is in good shape just remember, they sell new for around $75.

Good Post. They work good, but the contact time for the air and water is what it is lacking. They do a good job skimming, but not the greatest.

For just a little more $$$ you can get a Coralife 65G Super Needlewheel Skimmer. They go for around $80. This is a far better skimmer than the Prizm, I know because I have both. Not that the Prizm is as bad a people say it is, but IMO it's just not suited for anything larger that 30-40gal.
