this stuff grows fast i have my hand in this aquarium every other day pulling this stuff off my live rock and sand bed. all my test are good nitrates and nitrites = 0, ph=8.2, phosphate = 0 calcium = 450. i have a fluval 404 skimmer 4 maxi jet 1200's for circulation 2 of them with the hydro rotating end . i have the satellite 4x96 pc lighting running at 12 hours a day. i have an ro filter and my tds meter is at 001 ppm. all my fish and corals are happy and thriving ,its just this ugly stuff all over my tank. i have another fish only 40 gallon tank and there isn't a sign of this stuff in it. i am thinking of my cleanup crew is insufficient so i added 5 turbo's and 5 scarletts to the few snails and crabs i had. any suggestions? this is a 75 gallon tank that is 14 months old and this problem just started a month or so ago.

Have you changed the bulbs in the lights? ...12 hours a day on the lights? hmmm what about feedings?

i feed them once a day 1 cube of frozen food from variety pack, and i just changed out the bulbs last week the originals were about 8 months old. i change out 10 gallons every 7-10 days and rinse out my fluval also every 7-10 days.

Sometimes when you replace your bulbs you will get a algea bloom...you might want to cut back on the lights for a couple of days
