Wow, my manderin is in the same shape as your goby because of my sixline. It really sucks because the sixline in one of my favorite fish and was well tempered until I got my manderin. I really don't want to get rid of him!

Do it, because your mandarin is probably really stressed.

The Sixline was so timid when I added him, I would never had expected him to turn out the way he did.

I read in one of reef fish books that they can become aggressive toward smaller bottom dwelling fish/gobies.

It's most likley a direct competition for food. I agree it's hit or miss with the 6 line, stupid fish and they're personallities. A lot of people have them with no aggresion, but IMO, both those two fish are rock grazers, and directly compete for food. The 6 line gets tired of old goby eating his pods and like a little pinstripe suited pit bull, SNAPS! Larger tanks with more rock and you probably wouldn't ever see this. Same tank with different individuals and you may not. Through the dice man, you could have a customized goby too!

I think my Goy is traumatized. He will not come out of his burrow, and I haven't seen him eat for a day or two.
