problem with live rock

my live rock has a white growth on it. it looks like a fungus. is it related to coralline algae somehow?

How long have you had the rock? How long has your tank been set-up?

tank has been up for 7 mos rock has been in for 6 mos. has coraline on it and a few clusters of corallimorphs.

Some of my coraline died back white when my parameters went off the charts.
Check your Ca and Alk!
