Problems with Brown Algea on my Reef tank Glass?

The purple algea is of course good.
The other algea well...we all get an algea growing on the glass every few days, thats normal, mine looks green. Just clean it off with the magnet cleaner.
Now if you feel this is more of a problem than the normal algea growth then we will need more to go on. like;
Test scores for phosphates and nitrates, lighting and age of bulbs, you know a little more info?

i think everyone needs to clean their glass every few days, its just part of the tank maintenance. The purple is corraline algae which you want. Im letting it grow on all the glass except or the front.

Greg, does your algea look similar to whats in the right bottom corner of my pic?
I have a similar problem with a brownish red algea, and I have't found a solution yet. All my parameters are good including Phos = 0.0 ppm. Light is one MH 6500k bulb currently thats only about 10 months old. Been having this algea for at least 3-4 months now as well so I know its not the age of bulb.
Heres a pic, look at the bottom of the pic to see the edges of the glass with the algea on it and notice the shells in the tank are also covered with this stuff or with a dark red variant of coraline?

I have to swipe once a day with the magnet to keep it down. If not the tank will look hazy through the glass then the next day that hard green stuff sets in and then two days later its a nice coraline bloom starting. I do the same as A&M on the sides and back. the low light areas have barnicals fighting for a place to live and the rest is coraline crusting over the glass.
