ProClear WetDry Questions

With much thought I am not going to do a fuge/sump setup. Instead I am going to get a 125 Pro Clear Aquatics Wet Dry filter. I am going to start off small with a 90 gallon and If in a few years I when I move out and start living on my own I will upgrade to a bigger tank and a sump/fuge. I do have a couple questions though, before I start to make the purchase. first and most importantly...
I want to incorporate some LR in the wet dry itself. My question is what would be themost effective way to accomplish this, and the best filtration setup.
-Should I remove the bio balls and replace it with LR rubble or should I set the live rock under the bio balls on the floor of the wet dry?
Also....
-It comes with a protien skimmer, but I am thinking about upgrading to something a little bit better. Maybe a Daul Bak-Pak skimmer. My question is.. Do you think this is neccasary (no corals) to buy another, and if so should I run both at the same time, or just the bak-pak? Where would be the best placment for the bak-pak?
Heres a pic. for anyone who want's it. Thanks for all your help!:)

If i had to do it over again...
I would not get a pro-clear. I would build the wet/dry myself.
Their protein skimmers are way to small, do not get them.

Ok. Since the skimmer is out, I am probably gunna go with a daul bak-pak. The wet dry its self is 9.75" wide, and the Protien skimmer is 11.5" wide. My question is will the PS fit onto the wet dry, so both intake tubes are in the filter water? I guess, what is the length inbetween the 2 intake tubes, including the tube width, and will it fit on this wet dry?
and if it doesnt, will an aquaC remora work, even though it is rated for 75+ gallons and my tank will be a 90 gal? Thanks a lot!

ok. I thought of something new, hopefully someone will respond and tell me their opinions. In this idea a AquaC Urchin Pro sits inside the the "sump" part of the wet/dry.The water gets sucked in the PS after going through the bio balls, falls to the water then pushed up through the pump. The only problem is I am not sure if this will cause bubbles since the water is dropped such a long way, while leaving the skimmer. If so, how do you think I can control these bubbles? You can also get the optional "drain fittings" can someone please tell me what thats for? Please tell me what you think! Thanks!:)

You could make another bioball container for the water to spill in.
I know some people on this site have removed their bioballs and put small rocks in its place.

sweet. When do you plan on starting it? It will probably be a couple weeks for me. Just got to get rid of my 2 tanks right now and then will soon get it. What kind of pump are you getting to push the water back up?

Since the overflow is rated at 600 GPH, I am thinking about getting a Mag 9.5 pump (950 GPH.) Do you think this will be sufficient?

I got mine from the famous auction site.
125g older style with the bigger sponge.
It came with a cheap cap 2200 pump. Still runs great after 2 years.
I have it on my 55g.

If im correct thats 800 GPH correct? Also whats the head that your running on it, and do you have any elbows or anything like that, that resticts the flow at all?

Yeah its 800 gph. Just using the adapter that it came with.
No elbows to slow it down.
The length from pump to tank is about 4 feet.
I'm guessing its around 500 gph.
Since 3ft is 600gph.

I'm waiting for my 10 g fuge to cycle.
I have it setup to spill into the wetdry. And a small pump that does only 70 gph.
Once its up and running i will probably post a pic.
I'm hoping by next week.
