On second thought...
If you have the money to risk on a cleanup crew, it actually may not be a bad idea to give it a try. Like what is stated on this thread, some people get away with it, and others don't. If you have a couple extra bucks to risk, it may not be a bad idea. Who knows? It just might work. I would still count on it eating them someday though. To minimize that risk, just make sure it's fed regularly and you might get out of such frequent water changes.
