Thanks for your time its been about a month & half since my Seaclone 100 Pro Skimmer has been installed and i have not seen any Foam of any kind in the collection cup idk if maybe my tank is clean enough why there hasn't been a foam produced or of my skimmer is broken. Another issue is what is the best type of lighting for a 30 gallon tank.
Stock list: 2 Three Stripe Damsels
2 Maroon Clown
Multiple Bristle Worms
20lbs Live Rock

Another skimmer choice over the one you have would be the D&D marine Typhoon. great skimmer good price high quality components... very versitile. IMO...
and I agree what are your intentions for corals. Although IMO I would go nothing less than HO-T5's with individual reflectors. Even if softies are all your interested in, eventually, you will want to do more, its always the case..

None IMO your at your max... especially with the 2 maroons, they get very territorial and a 30gal isnt a very big tank. They can grow up to 5" each along with your cardinals IMO your maxed out.

the skimmer needs tweaking....unscrew the air valve completely off till no water is being suctioned in then

[hr]
on very slowly till you hear a big burp of bubbles inside the chamber as soon as you hear this quit turning and let it do its thing over night....then check out your collection.
