Protein Skimmer Question

I have been doing a bit of research on skimmers and went to the same website where I got my heater. The heater is the Pro-Heat Titanium from the Won Co. They have a model CU-75 skimmer w/pump which I can get from a dealer in my old hometown in Mass for $59.99. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this brand. I am very happy with the heater I got. It keeps a pinpoint accurate temperature in my tank all the time so I'm hoping that the skimmer is a good quality like the heater. My income is pretty limited and my tank is only 30 gal so I don't want to overspend if the skimmer is a good one. If not I'll wait until I can afford another brand. Anyone?

I never hear of that skimmer but I would but the best skimmer that you can afford. And if that is the best you can afford then get it. That skimmer would be 100% better than no skimmer.

I've never heard of that either but any skimmer is better than none. I have a coralife super skimmer on my 55 gal. I've heard bad things about them but I LOVE mine. It pulls so much muck out of my water it's alarming. It cost me about $120.
