I just started a 36 gallon coral and fish aquarium. would like to know what is the best recomended protein skimmer for my size tank

Also a CPR Bak Pak would be a good skimmer for your size tank.

I'd say go for the Remora. You truly pay for what you get when you buy a Remora. If you can't afford a Remora, then the Bak Pak would be a good alternative.
