Protein skimmer

Hi all-
I have a 30 gallon and was told not to get a skimmer until my tank is up and running for a few months. Well, that time has come and I think I should get a skimmer. What kind of skimmer should I be looking at for this size of tank?
Thanks!

Well as far as hang-ons go I've heard that the AquaC Remora is great. I'm not a huge protein skimmer expert, but the AquaC Remora is for tanks up to 75 gallons and I'm going to be using it on my 40 galllon, and it supposvly beats out all its competition in tests. :)

aqua c remora is a good skimmer but ive recently purchased the seaclone skimmer 100 for my 29 gallon.i put it on sunday and i already have the foamy stuff in the waste cup.i bought mine brand new for $62.99 plus $11.95 shipping on ---- on a store called web aquatics, but you will pay a good $130-$160 at your local petshop.whatever you do stay away from the skilter i had a bad experience with it.

Did you get the one with the biological filter in it or no? Is biological filtration desired in SW?

I have a Prizm Deluxe skimmer on my 29gal. tank. Cost me $80 shipped. I know a lot of people do not like this skimmer, but mine works great. It pulls all kinds of brown stuff (sorry) out of my tank. Setup was a little tricky, but once I got it, I haven't touched it in the 2 months it has been going.
