protein skimmer

my cousin bought me a skimmer and ity looks like a real POS. its a won brothers 75 w a sen300 pump. anyway i hooked it up and its bubbling but nowhere near getting anything into the collection cup. does it take a while for th eskimmer to work? i have a remora pro on the way as well. should i run these 2 simultaneously??

Yes, it does take a while for them to begin working. Won Bros. makes wonderful heaters, but I am not so sure on their skimmers. They never looked all that great to me.
I would run both at once or just use the Remora. Bottom line, definitely use the Remora, but it can't hurt to use both.
