Protein Skimmer

I am looking to add a protein skimmer to the tank, but do not know the physical size of the unit.
When I set the tank up I only left 6-6.5 inches between the wall and the tank. Is this enough room for the "Berlin Classic Hang on" advertised.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

How big is your tank? That should be enough room for most hang-on skimmers, but I would get something better than that particular skimmer. The remora skimmers are pretty highly regarded.

AquaC Remora is a good skimmer as is the Coralife Super Skimmer (although it can be tricky to tweak)

I agree completely. You will not be unhappy with the Remora IMHO. The Coralife are less expensive but you will eventually replace it with something more reliable.

I"ll second (or third) the Remora. It should only take about 3-4 inches in depth on the back of your tank.
