protein skimmer

Can someone recommend a good name brand protein skimmer
I bought a cheap one on ---- that goes in the tank and when the water
drops just a little it stops working.
Im looking for an external one .
I have a 37 gallon tall tank.
Any suggestions?????

I took your advice and did some reading online. I ordered the octo 100 the thing has been running for about 24 hours. The bubbles are not quite making it to the collection cup does any one know how to adjust it ?
Does the water level in the tank effect it ?
