Protein Skimmer

Tired of my cheap seaclone 100 protein skimmer not getting the job done! I have a 44 gallon tank, anyone have any suggestions for a replacement?

You have a much smaller than than me... BUT i just got this skimmer.. perhaps you could get a smaller model for your tank.. so far it works really well... I had bubbles in the first 10min!

since you got the seaclone i assume you need a HOB skimmer?

try the remora pro.

i just bought the remora pro and i must say i am VERY happy with it, it can be a tad loud at first but with the efficiency of the skimmer it was well worth it and it gets quieter later after break in anyway. i would recommend the mag drive 3 pump, helps pull more organics out of the water.
