protein skimmers

hi all. update on my 92g corner tank. added 115 lbs of tonga rock. huge pieces looks abs. amazing. nothing in the tank and i stare all the time at it. found a brittle star, so exciting.lol. anyway, was tryin to look thru old threads but cant seem to find what brand is the "best " for protein skimming, any thoughts?? also came upon the tunze system and freedom filter. what do u guys make of these?

It seems everyone has their own 'best' preference. The skimmer is such an important part of successful reef keeping that it is not the place to skimp.
I have the large Euro -Reef and LOVE it. I dump the cup every other day. It makes skads of nice wet foam and is so easy to clean, plus comes with its own pump, no extra plumbing and easily adjustable. I paid $300 for mine, but you might be able to find one on line for less.

Where did you find one at $300??? Everywhere I look wants $500 or more....
