Protien Skimmer Question???

IM planing on getting a sump/fuge for my tank and i was wondering if a seaclone 100 would be ok to put in the sump and if it will be good enough for a 55gal FOWLR tank??? in the future i will get alot better protien skimmer but for now i just need something to get my tank started and im not rich so... is this ok to have or not???

If you are putting a fuge on the tank with macro algaes for nutrient export then I would just save your money for a decent skimmer, don't get a seaclone.
For a cheaper skimmer but still works well, look for the coralife needlewheel skimmers. Go with the 125 skimmer (they seriously underate those skimmers), you should be able to find one for around 127.99.
