Protien skimmer?

How should a protien skimmer look when running are the bubbles supposed to overflow into the cup constantly or is it only to bubble to the top of the pipe? im so confused.

man I'm with you. Mine took almost 2 weeks to stabalize. I kept overflowing with water.
Things that help:
1. higher salinity
2. perfect pH
3. try raising your skimmer so the intake is closer to surface
4. just try raising and lowing it to see where it works best

The bubbles are not supposed to run into the cup constantly. Try to see if you can get the water level to be halfway up the neck.
Can we have some more information about it?

I kept overflowing with water.
this should never happen unless your overflow lines are clogged or crimped
