If I had the source I would gladly buy like 10 of them to sell on E bay!! Xbox360 were selling well into the 4 digit range last Christmas season.

Damn right. I bought a PS1 and PS2 on their launch days, but don't think i'll try that same stunt this time (almost lost an eye one of those times). I'm waiting until after X-mas in hopes they'll drop the price.....even though I know they won't for atleast another year.
And the new trend of setting 2 price points is really friggin annoying. If I wanted choices or levels of performance from a gaming machine I'd buy a damned computer, then I'd expect the ridiculous price. It used to be a video game system was just that, nothing else, you expected one price for one machine. Soon we'll see systems with optional coasters or foot-warmers or maybe even a beverage cooler. I want my video game console to be a console, not a friggin computer! I buy it so i can put in a game, turn it on and play the game. Not turn it on, have a conversation with it, choose what color I want it to be, pick what level of graphics or performance i'd like it to run at, connect to the internet, register, wait, get laughed at by corporate CEOs for buying their money-leeching product, then have to buy software from third party

sharing a bed with the manufacturer to make it work right!
Oh well, that's technology for ya.

Yeah even with XBOX Live you have to pay to play and then pay for extra crap. The sad part is that people are dishing out money for it! I think they're putting to much into gimmicks that most people don't even care about.
Back on topic though, i plan to get a PS3 the same way I got my XBOX 360 through a referral site. The site I'm doing says they will have 10 at launch(4 60GB and 6 20GB) and only 3 people have completed the site so far so I should have one a few days after launch if I hurry up and complete it.

I already have paid for one at my local video game store..EB Games..
They were taking deposits..I paid for it completely to ensure I get it on the 17th...I put down a deposit for the 360 and still had to wait 3 weeks after launch to get it..Figure pay all the way and play that day...

The 20GB version is $499 and the 60GB Version is $599. Maroonytun look for the Metal Gear Solid 4 Trailer. Thats all the help you need to make you decide to get one.

Forget waiting for the price to drop. These things are going for $1500 a piece on

already. My advice if you wanna make money off this. Camp out at a Best Buy or toys r us or whatever and get a hold of as many as you can. It is limited to 1 per person. Ive got 2 friends camping out with me. Im giving them $100 a piece and getting a hold of 3 units.

them and easily turn $1900 into close to $6000 guaranteed. I have a friend who did this with XBox 360 and sold 3 units for $1900 a piece within 3 days.

That sounds like a good idea but before you can post them on ---- you have to meet certain requirements as a seller.

Kinda wrong if ya ask me. Most die hard gamers won't get one because of people waiting in line just to resell for a profit.

Very true and ill have the actual unit photos up instead of just a printed receipt photo.
Yes it is kinda wrong because die hard gamers wont get one but hey itll be the die hard gamers that will pay $1500-$2000 just to get it before christmas.

I always figured that the people paying the big bucks on E bay are rich parent doctors who are sick of hearing their kid cry about wanting one for Christmas not the die hard gamers.

Changing the topic...Does anyone know where to pre-order a Nintendo Wii from? I live in Canton, MI so if anyone lives around here it would be great info but if you live somewhere else and a chain of stores(i.e. target, best buy) is letting you pre-order then please tell me.
