Tomorrow I'm picking up a cleaner shrimp that is approximately 3" but I'm not sure if I should purchase him because yesterday
my purple pseudo ate my new cleaner shrimp that was 1" will this guy 3" be okay or should I pass?
Are you sure it was your pseudochromis? These guys are usually very unaggressive. How do you know it died and is not hiding? If you see a corpse check that its not a molted exoskeleton...shrimp will leave fairly convincing copies of themselves when they shed their exoskeleton.
so far I added both the fire shrimp and cleaner and although the purple psuedo was curious about them he never attacked
It seems there antennas kept him at bay
he did tyr and nip at them in the very begining

I have no idea, mine is very non-aggressive. Maybe this is due to adding him later, or maybe it just atypical. All he does is explore the live rock caverns.
