is it a good buy?? Should i ask for it for christmas? Good battery life? We(family) take long boring trips for no good reseaon and i want something that plays movies and games and music for those boring trips.

how does it hold south park shows? I haven't seen any for sale for the psp. I would really love to have them
So its worth it? Whats the lasting appeal for it?

well its great! also they made a south park UMD (UMD is what the game discs are called) Also good games, tho if you get it make sure you have a wireless router or get one, you will be thankful for it. Especially with the PSP web browser and be ing able to play games online through it.

PSP looks really cool, but my guess in 5 years it will go the way of every handheld that tries to deviate from dvds and other mainstream software...the way of the dodo.
