My cleaning crew - 25 turbos, 10+ scarlet & blue hermits, 5 cleaner shrimp and 1 emerald crab - they just won't eat it !! What should i do? which you know is known to eat hair algea? Today I tried pulling them off, some i couldn't pull off, and i know they will grow back. and my cleaner shrimps are eatting my healthy flowerpot (i posted it few days ago) about area of 3 quarters now. should i get more emerald crab to eat this hairy algea? suggestion please. new tank established 1 year.

The algea as you described so eloquently :) is Bryopsis. Most things WON'T eat it (you figured that out though). There is a Nudibranch that eats it... but when it [algae] is gone so is the Nudibranch. The best option is to hravest it by hand and hope the hermits will fix the rest. At the same time keeping Nitrate and Phosphates in check and pH up.
