Puffer about to die!!!!!!!!!!

My puffer tryed to eat a bristle worm and the bristle worm attacked my puffer which now my puffer has these spines on him (white feathery things) and there are brown rings on his skin. HELP!!! I dont want him to die.

I don't know what to tell you. I got bristles on me once and had a heck of a time getting them off with tweezers. Did you post this in the Aggressive Forum to see if you can get suggestions?

Residual bristles won't kill your puffer. However, I'm sure it's causing a great deal of discomfort to your puffer right now. It is possible that your puffer might get bacterial infection or other complications on the site of sting. The only solution is to remove every one of bristles stuck to your puffer, which, by the way, is not a very feasible idea. My puffers are very hand-tame, and they let me touch them as much as I want to. If your puffer is like mine, you can try to remove bristles with a tweezer. Also, make sure to get rid of those troublesome bristleworms. Hope this helps.
