i know i am probably wasting my time even asking, cuase i am pretty sure the answer is "NO."
But here goes--- is there ANY kind of puffer fish that is compatable with a reef? I have always wanted one, and when i got into the reef hobby- i was not aware that they ate corals.
So anyway- i am SURE the answer is no, but i had to ask... :)

I would be interested to find out if a Valentini (saddleback) puffer is compatible - one of my books says that it is a little different from regular puffers and calls it a toby.

As you thought , almost any puffer will eat at corals , the only exception would be soft corals , they might be less desireable to eat.
