Puffer Not Eating

HI,,ALL
i got my "yellow" dog face,he is about 4'" last friday
and he still doesnt boder with food,i tryed kriil,silversides,clames
he just sits on the rock and looking aroud.
and i notes he got a little bit of ick (not much)
so,i am a little worry ,almost one week and he is not eating.
any recomendations?
maybe pofferlover can help

I would suggest to treat the fish for ich, and take care of that problem, and it should take care of the "not eating" problem.

Try some squid. Every fish I've had that refused to eat went after the squid like it was their last meal. lol Also, I would suggest getting a cleaner wrasse, as puffers are so prone to ick outbreaks.

Shadow, I respectfully disagree with your cleaner wrasse statement. Most cleaners die in captivity. IMO, they just aren't suited for it. Many don't feed in captivity and slowly waste away. Some may get lucky and theirs will eat, but 80% won't. They are a fish that should definatley be left on the reef, IMO. Bo
