Not Really. You can maybe chase him a tad if the net, I did that once and he puffed, but do it only a little, you don't want to stress him out too bad.
i dont recommend that you do this at all that can cause stress on the fish i once had a puffer a while ago that i did it to a couple times and he croaked because of it
it is vary cool to see but put yourself in his position and see how it feels
I think you should do absolutly NOTHING to try to get the puffer to puff. In time I'm sure you will see it happen. It such a cool thing to see but I would never force it to happen.
You cant take the butterfly out of the worm.
We have had our porcupine for about 4 years and he puffs up almost everyday at the same time and floats in the power head current, and then she goes back to normal after less than 2 minutes.
