puffers??

it says that puffer fishs' skin is poisioness, but is that bad for a reef tank and what are the disadvantages of that?

Well, to start out, Puffers are only poisenous if you ingest their skin, so u need not worry about that, unless one dieds and yer fish decide to peck at its skin. Also, theya re not reef safe at all. They will eat almost ALL inverts, will bite and chomp on corals and cause disaster. Although they are cool, FISH ONLY COMMUNITY. LOL, have a nice day.:happy:

I think the puffer is the coolest fish I evr owned. What a personality these fish have. They are just my favorite. Puffers are only poisonuos if you eat them, so hopefully you won't try that. If you put a puffer in a reef, and turn the lights off, in the morning the entire "reef" part will be ruined. They are not reef fish. They do get very large, and they are messy. Like I said they are one of the coolest fish.
