puffers

I have been told and I agree that Puffers are not reef safe. While it may not attack anemones, polyps are another thing altogether! We have a little live rock in Ipo's tank, but that's it. However I have seen Dogface puffers get along with tangs too.

anemones should be fine. any shrimp and crabs however are a gamble. if he can cath them hell eat them. so unless you dont have any other inverts you would have a problem

my golden puffer and my porcy leave the crabs alone but i tried adding a urchin to my tank and it was ok for about a week, until my golden eye-balled it and it started picking at the purple urchins spikes until they were gone, then the urchin was lunch.
They leave the crabs alone, kinda strange? but they leave the crabs alone and i can have a cleanup crew, so i aint complaining!

mine leaves my cleaner shrimp alone. i had a bunch of sand sifting crabs and he picked off all of them ive seen him snag a few. i havent seen the rest for a month or so so i just assume he got the rest of them.
