pulsing xenia ...

i`ve had my pulsing xenia for almost two months now and it just now started to pulse :joy: it is almost done splitting onto two rocks. i haven`t done anything differant, so why just now would it start to pulse ???

how much flow do you have in your tank? it might be just now starting to get use to the flow that you have.

i have just over 900gph and its a 55g tank. that might just be it .

xenia are just funny like that ,some may never pulse and some pulse like crazy and knowone knows why

Something has changed in the tank, however slight that you may not have noticed and the conditions are more to the xenia's liking now. I know they will stop pulseing if ph is just a hair too low......Xenia is one item I use as a visual indicator of my tanks happiness.

I'd say you're lucky it is even pulsing now, I know a lot fo reefers that never get it to do anything :/
