I have a xienia that is doing very well and growing rapidly. But in the last day or two i see that some of the pom's (the pulsing part) are missing with just the stalk. Not too many have this.. Should i be worried.

Have you added anything new to your tank in the past few days? Fish, crabs, shrimp? If so, what kind?

I have had this and am not sure what causes it, but the ends seem to grow back even bigger than before!

mine do this if they get caught up in the current and twist too much. funny thig is that the part that breaks off starts a new colony if it makes contact with good surface. I currently have about 12-15 colonies in my tank from this. I got one from a friend and it has went wild. I have even seen xenia on a snail shell before. Enough light and they will grow everywhere.
