pumice live rock

has anyone ever heard or used this stuff? came across this idea from the little scrubbers in the store then after googling it i see they sell large blocks of this stuff that i could probly use a dremel to make shapes and stuff plus its very light weight, maybe im on to something here hmmm, any suggestions?

I would worry about heavy metals. See if you cn find a site that describes the chemical composition of pumice.

I seem to recall that pumice floats...at least the piece I had as a kid floated very well.
 
Like Bang Guy, I'd tend to be concerned about heavy metals, etc leaching out of it as well.
