Pump Question

What exactly is head pressure? Also, how many gph would i need to pump for a 75g and a 125g? Not to together, but like for each indiidually?

Head pressure is the pressure created from the weight of the water. The pumps output is lessened with increase of height. In other words the higher your return lines the less output because of the pressure from the weight of the water. Your pump should turn your tank over around 10 times per hour. I use a 1200 on my 110.

A spray bar is a piece of pvc or other plastic tube with holes drilled in a line. Used as a water return across the tank.

i have a pvc returun in my tank.. to outlets..one top and bottom....i left it wite and now its covered with the algee from the tank.. red.. green... you also can hide it with LR or fake Plants if you want...
