what is the rate ratio on a pump 5 times the aquarium volume or 10. have a 72 gal bow front need to replace pump ASAP.......... :help: :help: :help: :help:

I am not sure what you are asking, but for a 72 gallon tank, something like a Mag Drive 7 or 9.5 would work well.

72 gls. for a turnover rate X 5 = 360 GPH rated pump
72 gls. X 10 = 720 GPH rated pump
Of course head pressuse from height of tank will reduce the actual flow some.

well i replaced my pump its a Lifeguard quiet 1....its working good had one casulty tho lost my coral band. I hate when i loose fish, especially that i could of avoided earlier.
