is there anything in purell that can be detrimental to your reef tank? this is of course after it has dried on your hands not just like dumping it into the tank...

I would think it would my such a small amount and deluted.

i believe the only ingredients in purell are a rubbing alcohol and water. small alcohols like this are very volatile (evaporate easily) so they basically aren't a problem after your hands are dry.
whoops, i just googled it and there are other things in it. most of it looks harmless to me though.

thanks, yeah i figured it was probably just alcohol, just wasnt sure.
