purple acropora bleaching

I have a purple acropora that is turning white in my tank. I have other acroporas in there a pink, green and they are growing and doing fine. Is this a different species that needs different conditions than the others? It is my second try at a purple with no success. Water parameters are tested and are very good. Lighting is 2 - 250 10000k metal halides and 2 110 watt VHOs. The only thing the temp is around 85 at this time. Any suggestions?

I would be concerned with your temp. IMO, 85 is high! IME when my tank gets above 83 I start having SPS bleaching and RTN problems.
