Completely, he stays under substrate most of the day and comes up about twice to take a walk around the tank, we feed him pellets. My tank is getting so full of corals that he does not have the room he needs, that is my only reason in getting rid of him.

I'm not certain, but I think since he's a sand sifter he would do best in a sand substrate.

I caught some off of mexico beach fla this summer and they are doing great.I have 6 in my 180 they borrow in the sand and don't mess with anything.and they are fun to watch
