Purple Hairy Crab?

after purchasing a 10 lb purple live rock(cant remember name of it) i noticed a small purple crab that blended perfectly into it, it was very hairy and Very ugly. now its several weeks later and its become the lockness monster because i have not seen it again other than a brief witness of his legs out of a hole. Im wondering what type of crab this is, would take a pic but only by miricle that would happen

are u serious? i mean its really little, and the chances of me actualy finding it in that rock to kill it are almost impossible

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it becomes large enough to catch one of your fish. Definately don't take advice like the guy above offered without identifying the crab 1st (no offence buzzword). Try to get a picture next time you see it and post it here.
