I've been meaning to put up this post for a while. Has anyone ever seen a puple and greenish hairy mushroom before? We bought it, and was told it was a hairy mushroom, but I've tryed to find it online but havent been able to find anything. Anyone here know anything about it?

You can dye corals?? o_O Is that alright? It doesn't hurt them? They seem so testy.. Like they die from so many things..

I have a colony of these that I have identified as Rhodactis indosinensis. They are 5 years healthy, although they have not grown much, moved, reproduced or spread like other mushroom corals in my system. The color is natural and varies. Sometimes the colors are reversed with green tips on fluorescent pink disks.
Raseri - You can obtain dyed corals, mostly soft branching corals like sinularia (finger leathers) but the practice is frowned upon, as they usually fail.
