Are these the same carewise as the blue's? Got a chance to get some at 14.99 each and wondering on the care/compatibility issues.

I've had one for a few months that looks very similar to a linkia but was sold to me as a burgundy fermosia(sp). To me, it seemed to be alot easier to aclimate than a blue linkia was(lost the blue a couple days after introduced to my tank, a few months back). Who knows, it very well may be a purple linkia. :) I say get it, eighter way, they are very beautiful and $15 is a good price. :D
Good luck!

Thats too bad man. <img src="graemlins//angel.gif" border="0" alt="[angel]" /> Hope it works out next time for you! Starfish of this nature seem iffy at best sometimes.

Mark, sorry i misunderstood you in one of your previous posts. I know what you mean about the LFS acclaiming these guys. If they don't do it correctly, the star is pretty much done for. Its too bad because we are the ones that will pay for it. I actually had to show a new LFS owner the proper preceidure on how to do it. Pretty scary isn't it!!!!
