Purple lobster Question

I have always like the purple lobster. A few days ago at my lfs i finally saw one in real life for only like 18 bucks. I really liked it but hesitated to buy because i didnt want it to die fast or be eaten. I have a snowflake eel and didnt know if it would try to eat it. I dont even eat out for 18 dollers let alone buy my sfe an expensive lunch. Also, is it hardy like other crabs and some other inverts?
anything info would b nice thanks.

Yep, your snowflake would consider that lobster a tasty litle treat...
That's one of the few bummers of having a snowflake - and otherwise all-around great tank partner: they LOVE crustaceans!

I have the same curiosity about the purple lobster. Are they hardy? Has anyone ever had one cause problems? That stinks that it is not compatible with your snowflake.

If the lobster is an adult and the eel is a baby, there's a good chance the lobster will injure if if it gets too close.

Ive had one for around 6 months, its very hardy, but you dont see them much. Very timid, and mainly comes out after the lights are out. And occasionally at feeding time. If its meaty. And then for a very brief time. But there cool, when you get to see them. Goodluck
