Will this cause any harm to my reef? My lfs says that it should be fine. He told me that they eat algea, but I looked them up on the internet and it said that they are carnivores. So can anyone enlighten me on the subject? T4AH and Happy Thanksgiving!

i used to have two, my anomie ate one and the other oen got caught in my powerhead, so if you have an anomie... beware and use something to gaurd the powerheads, so it wont be sucked up, they eat algae on the glass and rocks ... thats all i know oh and they are poisonous so if one dies change the water and get it out asap

Save your money - they will starve to death in your tank or get sucked into something and the toxins relased by them when they die will kill other fish if you have a smaller tank.

Thanks for the replys. After doing a little research I've decieded to pass on them. I really don't want to take the chance of it poisoning my tank. T4TH.:)
