There Was One Thing That I Did Notice Where It Is There Was Almost 0 Flow Would It Help With A Second Powerhead For More Flow? It Is Only 30 Gs. My Original Flow Was 270 G. Just Wanted To Try Other Options Before Adding The Powder. The Side Of The Tank Where The Flow Hits There Is 0 Over There

WELL LOOKING AT THE TANK ON THE RIGHT WHERE THE FLOW IS DIRECTED. THERE IS NONE BUT THE LEFT SIDE WHERE THE POSWERHEAD ACTUALLY IS HANGING AND THE FLOW DIRECTED TOWARDS THE RIGHT IS WHERE ALL OF IT HAS SETTLED BIG DIFFERENCE FROM LEFT TO RIGHT .SO WE PUT AN ADDITIONAL POWERHEAD ON THE RIGHT FACING LEFT SO WE WILL SEE .

You will NEVER syphon it all out, you will never blow it all out and nothing will eat it all. It needs to be destroyed on a molecular level. Chemical additives for removing red slime. Watch out though, some of this can overstilmulate your skimmer. JUST MASSIVE WATER!!! I'M TALKIN GALLONS!!!!!

Good water flow, and weekly water changes of 25% will go a long way, Always use RO/DI water, and cut back on feeding.

You can use Red Slime Remover to kill the cyano, but it will come right back when the antibiotic is skimmed out of the water (if the product is your only course of action). Make sure you are getting good water flow in the areas where the cyanobacteria is growing. Poor water flow is the #1 cause.

I started forming this stuff about a week ago now, I ran out and got 2 more ph and it appears to have stagnated. I am assuming this is part of my normal start up of a new tank? If so do you guys recommend red slime remover on a new tank as well? Or should I let nature run its course?

I treated my tank with the red slime remover and it never came back but I did several large water changes and added more flow to my tank.
