Purple Slug?

I almost bought a Purple Slug today but thought I better find out as much as I could before doing so. The lfs guy told me they were great to have and they sell so fast he can't keep them in stock. The reason I need more info is I seen he had Sea Apples too and he was telling me they were cool. I asked him about them poisoning a tank and he said they have a very slim chance of that happening. From what I've read on here people seem to have a different opinion of them. So is there something I should know about a Purple Slug?

Yes the purple slug or velvet slug eat flatworms. They ar hard to keep because of this , but ifyou have a lot of flatworms and a large tank you should be ok.
